About Me

Hi, my name is Seyan Washoma. I was born in Zimbabwe and spent a big part of my life growing up in Tanzania. Both places have shaped how I see the world and the kind of love and care I want to bring into it. I’m now based in Atlanta, currently studying psychology in college with a heart full of big dreams.

I started Miracles for the Mind because I needed a place to be real; a space to open up, share my story, and connect with others who might be walking a similar path. I know what it feels like to struggle, to feel stuck, to question your worth, or to simply want a fresh start. If my words can bring comfort or hope to even one person, then every post is worth it.

This blog is a reflection of everything I care about. Here you’ll find pieces of my healing, creativity, and personal growth. I share stories, insights, affirmations, and art that come from a deep place of love. I truly believe that healing isn’t linear, and that it takes community, courage, and compassion to grow through what we go through.

My dream is to become an art therapist and work with children, helping them use creativity to heal, express themselves, and feel safe. I also hope to speak, teach, and create spaces where people feel empowered to be themselves and care for their mental health in meaningful ways.

Thank you for being here. Whether you found this blog intentionally or stumbled across it, I believe it happened for a reason. You are not alone. You belong here. And I’m so glad our paths have crossed.

Welcome to Miracles for the Mind, let’s grow and heal together.
